“IF” YOU DO NOT LIKE/LOVE, “LOVE STORIES”, THEN YOU PROBABLY WILL NOT TAKE TIME TO READ THIS “GOD IS LOVE!” TYPE STORY/ARTICLE!

BUT, THE 1(ONE) most Powerful of ALL of GOD’S HOLY Power of Powers is “LOVE”…”GOD IS LOVE”

I recently met a couple of “Great New Friends” at the Ribbon Cutting of Veterans Village #4. PLEASE MEET KENNETH HILL AND JANET SNYDER

ANYONE WHO KNOWS ME, WILL UNDERSTAND THAT I AM A GREEAAATTT BBIIGG PROPONENT OF “GOD IS LOVE”! AND I BELIEVE THAT BECAUSE (WHOSOEVER BELIEVES THAT GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE “HIS ONLY” BEGOTTEN SON, TO SAVE US FROM OUR OWN SINS!),,, THAT “WE” SHOULD SHOW=GIVE “LOVE TO EACH OTHER” AND HAND OUT “FLOWERS AND AWARDS”, WHILE PEOPLE LIVE, NOT AFTER THEY ARE DEAD AND GONE…”WHY SEEK YE THE LIVING, AMONG THE DEAD?”… PEOPLE LOVE TO GO TO FUNERALS AND CRY, SNOT AND SNORT AT DEAD BODIES, WHEN THE “SOUL/SPIRIT” HAS LEFT THAT DEAD RETURNING TO THE GROUND MAGGOT-DECAYING SHELL, WHICH WE CALL A BODY.

1 John 4:7-21 English Standard Version (ESV)

God Is Love

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.

THERE IS NO WAY, THAT I CAN “RE-WRITE’ THIS AMAZING “LOVE STORY” AND SO I AM JUST GOING TO PAST IT HERE:

© The “MIXED” FAMILY UNITY Heritage and Legacy Celebrations: “WALKING-TALKING”BOOKS of LEGEND/HISTORY/HERITAGE & HUMANITY

“WHAT GOD HAS BROUGHT TOGETHER, LET NO MAN PUT ASUNDER!”

SO WHY HAS “GOD” PUT MYSELF AND THESE TWO “LOVE-BIRDS” TOGETHER, OVER ALL THE BILLIONS OF PEOPLE, WITHIN THIS WORLD??? AND REMEMBER, MY LOVELY WIFE AND I, ONLY MOVED HER TO LAS VEGAS, IN OCTOBER OF 2017, FROM DETROIT MICHIGAN (MORE THAN 1,200 MILES ACROSS TIME, SPACE AND SPIRITUAL PRESENCE.

MY “LATE/GREAT MOM” USED TO SAY: “SUCH A TIME AS THIS!” AND WHEN WE, OUR FAMILY HAD ONCE, “FINALLY HAD CLEARED/CLEANED’ THAT LITTLE SPOT OF LAND, THAT MY “LATE-GREAT DADDY=PENDON “NONE” REECE (BECAUSE HE HAD NO MIDDLE NAME) (http://www.reeceenterprises.family/): LEFT TO US; THAT WE LOVINGLY REFERRED TO AS “THE FARM”, BUT, I ONCE LEGALLY REGISTERED AS: “©THE REECE FAMILY MEMORIAL PARK” (REGISTERED IN BOWIE COUNTY AND THE CITY OF TEXARKANA, TEXAS); (NOW AGAIN ALL GROWN UP IN WEEDS AND TREES AND OVERGROWTH…MOM WAS SITTING THERE LIKE “THE QUEEN”, WHICH SHE WAS, SMILING TEARS OF JOY, AS WE HAD A “LITTLE FAMILY PICNIC UNDER THE SHADE TREES, DOWN NEAR THAT LITTLE CREEK THAT RAN THROUGH THE PROPERTY…”I CAN FEEL HER HEART, LOVE AND SPIRIT” AGAIN, AS I WRITE THIS STORY…

SO WHENEVER I AM PLACED WITH “TRUE/TRUTH” SPIRITS, AND I HAVE NO EXPLANATION, OF HOW/WHY “WE JUST LOVE EACH OTHER AND JUST “CLICK”, I CAN “ONLY” FEEL THE “LOVE OF THE “1/ONE” TRUE & LIVING GOD, AND “HE HAS DON IT AGAIN!!!”

It would be nice if our military surviving spouses could also get support from the memberships of the other military organizations to which we belong as members.  This is a bipartisan issue.  We need grassroots support:  people calling their Congressional offices, sending e-mails, making office visits, requesting their support and votes.

Many thanks,Janet

Sign Letter to Ensure Military Widows and Widowers Receive Full Benefits in FY20 NDAA

Sending Office: Honorable John A. Yarmuth

Request for Signature(s)

Dear Colleague,

Please join me on a letter to House and Senate Armed Services leadership urging them to keep the widow’s tax fix in the NDAA during conference deliberations. For 40 years, surviving families of the men and women of our military have been subject to the unfair Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP)/ Indemnity Compensation (DIC) Offset, which is known as the widow’s tax. More than 60,000 survivors are subjected to the offset, which reduces their SBP benefits by nearly $1,000 per month. With a record 372 bipartisan cosponsors on H.R. 553, The Military Surviving Spouses Equity Act, and 75 bipartisan cosponsors on the Senate companion bill S. 622, it is clear Congress understands the importance of eliminating this burden. We finally have the chance by ensuring that this fix, which was included in the House NDAA, is retained as part of the final conference agreement.

Including this provision to axe the widow’s tax in must-pass NDAA legislation is likely our only shot this Congress to end this unfair offset once and for all. We’ve tried for years to get this right – and now we finally can. Please join me in asking leadership to stand up for grieving military families by including this fix in the final package. The spouses and children of our fallen heroes have sacrificed enough. Please contact Erica DiCio at erica.dicio@mail.house.gov  if you would like to join.

Sincerely,

John Yarmuth

Member of Congress

Gold Star Spouses at risk of losing benefits

CNN’s Jake Tapper pays tribute to the widows and widowers of fallen military members. Source: CNN

After moving to Las Vegas in early 2006, Janet’s husband Tom became ill.  His service-connected disabilities from Vietnam worsened until he became bedridden, and Janet was his full-time caregiver until he passed at home on hospice care on October 23, 2010.
Janet immediately became involved in the Las Vegas military community: starting the Las Vegas chapter of Gold Star Wives of America, Inc. in February 2011; starting the Society of Military Widows of Southern Nevada chapter #34 in January 2012; going to conventions and trips to Washington, D.C. to advocate for legislative issues affecting military surviving spouses.  Top priority is eliminating the SBP/DIC offset.  When active duty or retired career military servicemembers die of a service-connected disability, their surviving spouses are offset in benefits.  The Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) they receive from the VA is taken out dollar-for-dollar from their Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP), even though their spouses were granted concurrent receipt of disability benefits from the VA and their retirement pay from DoD.  If Janet and other military surviving spouses over age 57 were to remarry, they would receive both SBP and DIC; however, if they remain unremarried, they have the offset.  Since October 2010, Janet has lost over $1,000. each month.  There are approximately 63,000 – 70,000 military surviving spouses in the USA who are affected by this offset.  Janet has been advocating for these issues as Legislative Chair of the Society of Military Widows and the Military Officers Association of America.  She works closely with the Nevada delegation who are most supportive.
Janet agreed to be National President of the Society of Military Widows in 2016, in order to have a bully pulpit for advocacy of legislative issues which affect military surviving spouses.
Current SMW Legislative Chair is Rosalie Horton, who was interviewed last year by CNN on April 5th, Gold Star Spouses Day.
